While he is not the Messi he likes to believe, he is a far better player than he looks at Arsenal. He is a pure CF and if he is played as such, he will give you at least 15 goals this season. He has been played on the wings at Arsenal and that has been his undoing. If Bruce plays him in the right position as CF, which I believe he will, you have gotten yourself an awesome bargain.
You have a good player in Bendtner

I hope you are right my friend...We are crying out for someone who knows where the net is at present. I feel that our overall game has been pretty good, but that counts for nothing if your strikers are firing blanks that has been the story of our season so far.

Bendtner is quality. I have seen this kid since he was 15/16 he looked a world beater all the top clubs were after him Barcelona/Ac Milan.
He then had that great loan spell at Birmingham. But Wenger made the wrong decision when he decided to bring him back! He should have sent him on loan to a premiership club!
Ever since he hasnt really played regular football, hasnt played well and has picked up alot of injuries.
Yes hes got an ego but hes a top footballer hes only 24 got plenty of years left.
He will score and create alot of goals for Sunderland and people will see he is a quality fooballer

When 606 closed, the vast majority of Sunderland fans either went to not606 or some of the exclusive Sunderland forums...I pop on here now and again to see how me marra's getting on...

You're dafter than I thought, if you think that
I still don't like the abuse, and I can not contribute to a site that allows disgustingly offensive references to disabled people, so I am obviously not welcome there
I don't know if you know, but my son is disabled, and anyone who condones abusive comments about such people will never welcome someone like me who is sickened by them
. . . . and as an afterthought, I think they should know that a lot of people think similarly to me

. . . . sorry for the delay in this reply, but I've been away for a few days whilst my Adam has been at a College for 'people with learning difficulties' for assessment purposes - he's due to leave school next year ( when he'll be 19 ), to go into further education
