admins multi boards please In the wake of some monumental fan gesture by Liverpool fans who were upset by the rising costs of match tickets, and in the light of a gigantic deal done by the footballing governors with various commercial entities, it is time that football realised one thing:
The fans are what makes this possible.
The excitement you see in a league where a relegation candidate last season is leading it and the chasing pack and the intensity of the beautiful game.
All that is made possible by the everyday fans who do everything to turn up in rain, sun, wind and snow to pay and cheer their clubs

Hope the clubs listen to these folks and stop increasing ticket prices, making it difficult to support your beloved clubs.

simple case of supply and demand, just like every other business.
ive been paying stupid prices to watch spurs for years now. that's just how it is - nobody is forced to consume the product, exactly the same way nobody is forced to buy a more expensive thing from John Lewis when they can get the same thing for cheaper in PC world

The problem is the clubs with the most expensive tickets, always sell out . And the clubs with the cheapest tickets have lots of empty seats.

I disagree completely Chronic. If Spurs were offering £80 prices per average home game and I had £50 disposable income, should I go and support Arsenal if they're doing £20 special tickets?
Sporting teams are completely irrelevant in comparisons with any other industry business. They started as community-focused entities too let's not forget, so not at all similar to PC World or John Lewis

no you shouldn't. but only because you are a spurs fan, therefore I suggest that you wouldn't enjoy consuming arsenal games.
if you cannot afford what you want to buy you have to either not buy it, or spend less on something else.

Can't blame the teams.
If they keep increasing prices and yet continue filling out seats then why should they reduce them? Its a business and as long as we have people willing to pay for them then it doesnt stop.
If a clubs fans manage to organize a mass boycott where only 40% or however much seats are sold on a regular basis then i guarantee there will be changes made.
