I don't know how certain Villa fans have got the nerve to criticise Albion after watching that pile of crap.

I wonder is there agreement among Villa fans as to which players, if any, are trying and deserve a place?

Is there a clear cut four, five or six players who need to go?

Watching games on TV now and then, you dont necessarily get a clear idea.

Think the players were bound to crack sometime, in spite of recent minor successes. Playing for a club where more though is spent over which staff to cut and where investment in the team is not reckoned worthwhile is not the best place to be.

Those to go? Minimum of three: Lerner, Hollis and Fox, then maybe some of the other management imports.

After beating Norwich 2-0 they thought they were on the brink of a renaissance.

Strange how this game can give you a glimmer of hope only to have that hope cruely snatched away. It's worse than suffering immediate execution, but hey, ho keeps us entertained.

You've lost me there - I think the reason it gets picked for non football reasons is because its the biggest stadium in the Midlands. As for one the finest? I'm not sure. Compared to Walsall probably, compared to Etihad, Anfield, Emirates, Old Stratford I think not.
