If we had scored in the first minute and then only had two more shots on target, would everyone's perception be different? Leaving it late gives everyone confidence to think we will ultimately succumb to one of these sides, but would they if we had scored early?
The reality is, it makes no difference at what point you score because at the end of the day, a game lasts 90+ mins and we found a way to score and win the match.
It's one thing coming and parking the bus but it still doesn't mean players won't mistakes or switch off. We have the players to create chances no matter who we play and how they set up against us. You could argue Norwich switched off once and we took advantage, something that we are very good at, teams simply can't switch off for 10 seconds because we will punish them.
There is no guarantee that any team we face will manage to hold out for 95 mins without us scoring. They might but just parking the bus is no guarantee of stopping us. We won the Championship and had teams parking the bus but we still found ways to beat them, with largely the same squad. Yes it's a different level and the opposition are better but so are we.
We have put six past WBA in the last two games and they always park the bus, especially at one nil up, which is the position they found themselves in before going 1-3 down. Maybe they will stop us from scoring and maybe other teams will too but to do so they must concetrate and not make any mistakes for 95 mins and that isn't going to be easy.
It was great to see Schlupp back, he really made a difference when coming on and I thought Amartey did well too, it was a pretty solid if not spectacular debut for him. With Kante suffering from a slight hamstring strain I'd be tempted to stick him in the middle with Drinky, put Simpson back at right back and give Kante a rest. We're not going to need him agaisnt WBA so might as well rest him if he's not 100%.

Haven't read the comments on here, but I just wanted to remark on the above line from your article though I imagine I'm not the first to do so.
Yesterday I read a whole load of comments saying that the way you won was the mark of champions, I don't remember any saying it was a sign that you're starting to crack. I'm sure there was the odd one, but at the same time I'm absolutely positive they were only a minority.
The impression I get is that it's you pick out any potential negative remark or just imagine the spin anyone wanting to knock Leicester would put on events.
What I don't recall reading from you is any mention of happiness or satisfaction regarding how the world and its mum is really egging Leicester on, hoping you achieve the ultimate underdog feat. I'd say these fans probably outnumber the anti-Leicesterites by about 100-1, but you keep sending out all these negative messages about people hating on Leicester. If you think there's so many, try supporting Madrid!
Really, it can't be good for your karma, man.

I'm not negative at all, I just read several comments across these boards from people who thought it was inevitable that we will slip up and I was questioning whether people would have been saying it if we scored in the first minute.

We've had some very civil conversations the past few days, I'm not looking for trouble.
What I'm saying is that it must be a very small minority who are saying the way yesterday's game unfurled are a sign of weakness, because virtually every comment I read said the total opposite. But you've focused on the former.
Most of us want you guys to ultimately succeed. If Spurs fans don't, and if they think or hope it's a sign you're beginning to struggle, it's only because they have legitimate title ambitions of their own and want to see the glass half full from their side, just as you do from yours.
Outwith those who have hope of lifting the title themselves and your traditional local/regional rivals, there are hardly any people who wouldn't want you to pull it off mate.

Read it calmly and tell me that the words "everyone" and "confidence" don't convey the idea that you seem to feel most people don't want you to prevail.

Ok. There's an addendum to my post which I posted at virtually the same time you replied.
If you want my tuppence on the whole thing, ever since I heard it I've gone by something I heard from Johan Cruyff in the early 90s, when he managed Barça.
He said that his side's objective was always to get to the last 5 games of the season in the best possible form and still in with a chance of winning the title, because those were the games that would truly decide it.
Barça won 4 straight Liga titles under him, only the first by a clear margin.
The other 3 were won on the final day of the season and required the team in front of them to drop points. One of them, Real Madrid lost in Tenerife after surrendering a two-goal lead. In another, it required Deportivo missing a last-minute penalty.
So for now, I'm just ticking matches off the calendar.
Fat ladies and all that.

Yeah has to be one game at a time now but if we can get the next five right then the last five not be so vital. Long way to go before she's stretching her lungs that's for sure.

That's it. Clearly, just getting to the last 5 still in with a shout of pulling it off would be great, and you'd have as good a chance as any going up against Spurs (young squad) and Arsenal (poor reputation for handling these situations) for those games.
Imo, it's City you really need to have a good bit of distance on going into that stretch, as they do have the credentials and proven experience of handling themselves in those situations. Right now it's looking really good for you on that front.
