Apparently so according to the media.
Despite Utd trying very hard and failing to sign their main transfer target Sneijder all I kept hearing last night was how the big winners of the transfer window were Utd.
Sneijder is the type of player that would make all the difference against teams like Barca which is why Fergie wanted him so badly.
Yet despite failing to sign Sneijder all I kept hearing on BBC Five Live as well as TalkSport was how well Utd had done in the window and what a great player Cleverly will be etc.
Could the sporting media be any further up Fergie´s jacksy if they tried ?

So If I am understanding this correctly Man Utd are worse because they actually got to the final to play Barca, whereas Chelsea who didn't manage to get to the final because of Man Utd are the superior team.... ?
