Origi and Benteke injured

Both have been removed from the Belgium squad with the blue noses Kevin Mirallas replacing the former. Rotten luck, leaving us with only Daniel Sturridge as our fit striker!

7 in 14 suggests he still has 'it'.

7 in 690 minutes in fact. Crazy strike rate.

Yep. Crazier still, it could have been better! Probably wouldn't have been with a bit more match sharpness.

I'd like to be privy to what they've done with him really.

I know with Owen they had to strengthen his core, levers and hamstrings which cost him more than a yard of pace but meant his creamy hammys didn't tear.

They're certainly not giving him the 90 atm.

Firmino is now also injured so it just leaves Sturridge as our only striker. Hopefully Ojo can get some minutes he looks exciting as a player.

Ojo for me is a fantastic young player, at his stage when compared, to be better than Ibe or Sterling. He plays with such confidence. He has got to be a bolt on certainty for the future. I say the future because he still has some way to go. But when given his chance he's shown he can do it.

there is ALWAYS another player round the corner.

This attitude has destroyed us in the last 7 years.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
not really

we lost players because they had better options and we couldn't keep them as 'slaves' any longer.

We didn't sell because we thought we could replace them.

And the attitude we could never replace gerrard didn't hurt?

SERIOUSLY....

keegan replaced by Dalglish and I need go no further.

But.

Rush to fowler to Owen to torres.

There's always another player it's merely a question of who's terms they go on.

If players are dictating fine it's bad but it's time lfc started dictating.

Last point is klopp I hope will have the next lewandowski in mind not the current big name.

Lfc has lost its way but just look at how Barcelona got turned round by cruyff as we all get our history lessons r.i. p.

He gave them confidence. If klopp can't do that for us who can....
