After our fantastic win against Leeds the international break has given the team a chance to rest a bit and hopefully work hard on the training pitch. We are up against a far better team on Saturday and we will have to work very hard to ensure we get something from the game. Sheffield Wednesday are a team that have underperformed for too long and maybe this season they may finally get back to the Premier League which their fan base deserves. Their results have been a bit mixed of late but a couple of good 3-0 wins will have boosted their confidence.
Town are a very different proposition to when we played them last time as it was only the start of the Wagner Revolution and we werent used to the new way of playing. We took the lead in that game only to be soft in the last 20 minutes and let them put three past us. That is a big area of improvement in the steel of our team and players like Billing and Lynch have helped create a spine which is more resilient.
We will also have to have our score cards ready as I hear Forestieri has been working on adding a few new twists to his routine having watched Tom Daley a bit. Joking aside he and Hooper are always a threat and we need to be on our game and avoid any lunging tackles. Their manager claims they are one of the top attacking teams in the division and with 56 goals they have a point but we do have 52 ourselves and only one competent striker!
They however have a much stronger defence having only let in 36 goals to our 53 so Nakhi and co will have to really be on their game and take the chances when they occur. That lack of clinical finishing has be a fault of ours but against Leeds we really made up for that in a strong way.
Head to Head
Town have won 24 of the 53 games, the last victory being the away fixture in 2013, and they have won 17, with the last the 3-1 win last November. The form table for the last 8 games has us in 7th and Wednesday in 10th so in many ways form is similar.
Team News
Town:
I would suspect a very similar lineup to the Leeds game with the main question being whether we would start with van la Parra or Bunn/Matmour as Wagner does love to rotate it a bit. Given how VLP didnt look match fit against Leeds it will depend on how hes done in training but Bunn did well and scored when he came on last time out so must be pushing for the starting slot. With Hogg injured I cant see our midfield being changed especially with Billing back in the lineup.
Sheffield Wednesday:
Looks like our old boy Jack Hunt may be making a return, and has been doing the press for them this week. From what I can tell they have a pretty fit and full squad to choose from with only Moudou Sougou not available. Therefore reading what their manager and fans are saying I suspect a similar team to their victory over Charlton. Apparently they are back with "new energy" which is good but I dont see how a new power source helps them on the football field.

Social Side
We are on the whole a fairly friendly club with little trouble but this is a big, or should I say MASSIVE (ahem) game and so there may be a few more restrictions than normal. Its an easy walk from the train station and plenty of places to park near the ground.
My Prediction
I think the win against Leeds will have us fired up but its going to be really tough. Im going to be optimistic that we will take our chances and be 2-1 Town with Forestieri sent off in the first minute for his fifth dive!
