Thanks Jose, but you're an idiot!

The more I see players who he gave little or no chance, flourish @ other clubs, the more infuriated I get!
How can someone who had coached different clubs and players, still can't recognise and nurture a talent is beyond me.
Look @ KDB, Jose literally treated him like sh!!!t @ Chelsea, but look @ him now, he's performing miracles @ City. A match winner!
Same as Lukaku...
Same as Cuadrado @ Juve...
Same as Mata @ United, even though the club isn't doing great, but Mata still remains better than our present so-called No. 10, you all know who I'm talking about, I really don't want to mention his name, cos it will p! ss me off the more.

I still remain grateful for what he achieved @ the club, but I'd never forgive him for selling some of the few talented players we managed to purchase.
He's really an idiot!

Suprb, That is absolutely correct, the clubs failure to properly install real footballing people is another major flaw.

Things have to change

His modus operandi is to buy established players, with loads of cash, which guarantees him success.
----------------------------------------------------------------
People need to stop pedalling this rubbish. His managerial career didn't start in 2004, he had a few noteworthy accomplishments before that with clubs whose budgets were pathetic in comparison to the clubs he was bettering to achieve those honours.

Ever since he's been at clubs with money and had the genius idea to spend it on the right talent for his proven winning philosophies. That makes him a pragmatic winner, not a manager who needs resources to win. In the 90s, a major part of Ferguson's United dominating the PL was the manager capitalising on the gulf in resources between his clubs and the rest of the league, and harvested all the league's best talent to widen that gap as far as he could. Did that make Ferguson a manager depend on money?

I do agree with you that he has issues when it comes to nurturing young talent and extracting what's best out of their natural game, he prefers adapting them to his philosophies whether they like it or not. But that doesn't mean he's a manager whose dependant on having the best players to win either, one of football's biggest fallacies.

Jose has his faults like every manager

He is extremely arrogant but not as bad as AW. He's not a particularly nice person who seeks to blame others when he makes a mistake

You can't deny his success but he's only ever going to be a short term fix at any club

At Chelsea at the time he took Ranieri's team and ruined them. Second place & CL semi final to first and CL semi final after spending another £100M on top of signings bedding in during CR last season is in truth no great stretch

People sometimes suggest he transformed the club. He didn't, he just added to work already been done

You weren't exactly complaining last year.

Your club releasing Jose was the bigger mistake.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

No it wasn't...he was toxic & had to go....legend or not

With Jose you get the very best and the very worst....sadly, it's not always obvious which is coming on any given week

we'll always be grateful for what he did, but his time was up.....strangely he's still out of work mind...& not all Utd fans want him coming in

also we could be Arsenal....wondering about aimlessly winning nothing & underachieving in Europe year on year....

The leap from 2nd to first is massive. He built a better team than Ranieri by bringing in Carvalho, Ferreira etc players he made at Porto. I know it hurts you to say it but when he's good there is no one better

He absolutely did. 2nd only to Abramovich in terms of historical impact on Chelsea F.C. in the 21st century.

You might want to include the late Mr Harding in there who's initial input into the club (in the late 20th century) made it the attraction to Abramovich that it was

Yep, RA had to get rid of him to actually win the CL

He's had 2 goes. Won some trophies in the short term but never been able to build a legacy anywhere!
