Weekend conclusions

1) Penalties first. Saido's first pen was woeful, second was better but keeper saved well. He shouldn't have snatched the ball away from Gardner, but he did, he missed again, but all hail the courageous man for stepping up blah blah.

2) TBH I don't really care about the pens, as that masked a poor performance (which TP will probably be relieved about). Another average side has come and beat us at home. In fact I wouldn't even call Watford average. For the first time I could appreciate what it is like playing against us. Hoof, Hoof, score from a set-piece, then defend for your life.

3) Does Yacob need to play in these games at home to mediocre sides? When the impetus is on us to win games, I'm not sure what Yacob does. Sandro is more mobile and better in possession. McLean shouldn't be more than a squad player. For the love of God, sign a proper winger/creative wideman in the summer.

4) I've heard both sides of the TP argument. I still don't know what I'd do with TP and I'm not sure we should do anything. One year left on his contract, I wouldn't extend it. No-one is going to poach him anyway. I'd give him the start of next season to show some improvement.

5) Finally could I take a moment to laugh at Aston Villa. Will miss the rivalry though...until I think of all the gobby seals in the North Stand who I have had to endure during various games over the years.

Otherwise pleased to see the back of another forgettable season

I'm really p***** off with this latest farce. No one can blame him for two penalties missed, but how many home league defeats is that now? Seven or eight? I've supported TP for long enough. Now he has to act. Either sign players for their proper positions and start playing proper football, or p*** off.

No one can blame TP for two penalties missed, I meant. Saido on the other hand wants shooting.

The writing was on the wall when I saw that Sandro had been dropped.

Dropping a player when they've just had an excellent game is a cardinal sin for me. Basic stuff. You play well, you keep your place.

Saturday was a perfect opportunity to go on the offensive but no, Pulis strikes again.

Negative idiot.

This Summer is likely to be our most expensive ever. Question is, do we want Pulis deciding who we splash the cash on given that we're crying out for goals?

As for Berahino. Stuff like that happens. At least he had the courage to step up for the second one.

My main gripe is that it won't have done much for his value. However, given that we could easily have a budget of £30-40 million this summer, if were to only get £15 million for Saido, it really wouldn't make a huge amount of difference.

I did argue with the Spurs fans that it made good financial sense to keep Saido last Summer. A few pundits are now freeing with me given the amount of money that will be flying around at the end of this season. I can still see him going for £20 million.

"agreeing" not "freeing"

Tony Pulis is suffering from either illusions or dementia if he thinks our performances are good. He needs transporting to an uninhabited island in the Pacific with a bunch of coconuts and a packet of Imodium to stop all the pooh he comes out with.

Anyone who still supports Pulis can go with him as they will be barking mad.

Aries has got it right.

Pulis now needs to make the signings and change the way he plays - especially at home to teams that the Baggies ought to be beating. Or else he needs to fääck off.

No-one minds a draw against ManC, Spurs and so on. But losing at home to the likes of Swansea, Watford and what have you.. that just isnt good enough.

Not when it happens because the team has been set up too defensively.

At home against clubs like that, you have to go for a win.

TP needs to see that. Or do one.
