I'm just trying to get in a good mood despite all the doom and gloom.

All jokes are lost on me because I'm too used to everybody turning everything into anti-bates bull. I don't mind most things about Bates but the only thing that gets me, and I do mean the only thing because I can put up with ticket prices etc. Is how strict he is on the wages, he's too stubborn to realise we're one of the lowest spenders in terms of wages

I really don't like Bates. Mainly for the same reason you have for not liking him. He is trying to run the tank on quarter full in my opinion. He'd love to tell us all how he has achieved promotion to the Premiership on a shoestring! That isn't going to happen.

He's just stubborn. That is the 1 main problem. He really cannot see that the majority of the other Championship clubs are willing to pay higher wages.

i would love him. The most hated player and the most hated club. He would fit right in. And i think right on most of his points
