Bute, I don't bleat about posters not liking me at all. Personally I couldn't care less. Shame you and a couple of others have an agenda that's all. But it's just yet another of your w/u's. Similar to me "hounding out a manager etc".

You should really seek some help with regard to your obsession. Maybe you still hold grudge about your hero. I'd mention that to your shrink too. I'm sure he'll just tell you to "get a life"

Re headers - totally bizarre opinion. Maybe a god subject for a thread. Re winning the competition, it's a luck thing rather than being anything to do with skill, which is good, so it's open for anyone to win it. If someone wins it twice running, that would be an anomaly.

I believe your question regarding headers was something to do with how much you rate them compared to other goals?

I said that anyone can score a header, i see some fantastic headers at the level i play these days and levels i played before, from guys who can barely kick a ball.

Not to mention the situational aspects of where the header stemmed from. Most headers are scored from dead ball situations and i would be mortified if there is anyone on a football pitch that cannot deliver a ball into the box for a header. Those same players would struggle to create opportunities through general footballing ability.

Are headers important? Absolutely, and some header a ball better than others, but if judging the importance of a guy who headers a ball well compared to a guy that has many other attributes then i am taking the guy with the other attributes.

The greatest players to ever play our game will all have been remembered for their skills before their heading ability.

That's because it is harder to score with the head - any good striker will tell you that.

Therefore, strikers become better known for wellying the ball with their massive clog hoofs.
