It was obvious he would be off soon. He never really professed any love for the managerial role he was foisted with. I for one wish him luck as he at least put the effort in and managed to steady the ship in the end. Seemed a decent upstanding bloke. He will be yet another foot note in Forest's recent underwhelming history, though.

Praying he has at least stayed long enough to get the next pre-seasons preparations planned apparently. Just hope the player's have had their fitness plans given out before they jetted off for the sun or there could be a squad of chubsters returning in July!
