That is what he is on at burnley. Why would he expect to be paid less?

It's a hard one. Talented player who I would not like to see playing for Rangers as he would be a real threat..but the wage structure would be a problem. He's at the wrong end of his footballing life and will be looking for a bumper pay off. Rangers tried to sign a Leicester development player on loan and baked at his 7.500 weekly wage.

timmy, you have got be joking, surely? Do you really need it spelt out? If he has any brains, yes that is also being disputed, then he knows fine well, that nobody is paying that in Scotland. If I wanted to move back to Scotland, it would be well in the knowledge, that I would not get anywhere near the money I am on in Switzerland. These are facts. Just because he is earning well in England, doesn`t mean he expects the same in Scotland.

Juke, was just a general point. I doubt that Brown is on so much. I am pretty sure our wage structure doesn`t go that high. I also wouldn`t believe for a second that Rangers will start splashing that amount of money on a player. How old is Barton, 33? Just doesn`t make sense
