I think it's pretty cringey tbh.
The Spanish league plans to fine clubs that allow empty seats to be shown on television next season.
New regulations require top-tier clubs to fill sections of the stadium which are shown by certain camera angles.
The move is part of efforts to improve the league's product for TV audiences and increase its competitiveness with England's Premier League.

I think they should do it for all seats not just those in view of the camera. It will force ticket prices down or the clubs to give free tickets to schools and grass root clubs. They should do it here too.

Terrible stuff. It's what they do in WWE for shows that don't sell out, ushering people to in front of the camera. Shouldn't happen in football
