Fall for what?

I've not seen anyone that thinks this is a good idea or a good match as yet. Nobody is 'falling' for anything.

They fall for it by getting sucked in by the hype, watching these fights and even paying for them. You know if Haye vs Bellew gets signed it will be PPV and people will pay

Often I'd agree with that. In this case I think it's just someone (Bellew) using the name of someone else to boost his profile.

I think there's very little chance of it happening and if it did I can't imagine anyone would buy it. It's media speculation. Harmless and pointless.

Well it's getting the media coverage, the posts on the forums and Haye has said lets bring it on.

They are some great fights happening but won't get the coverage of these farces.


And let's not forget Haye vs Briggs is already happening.

It's getting media coverage because Bellew fought at the weekend and they're both British fighters. Sadly the best fights aren't necessarily the most media friendly but that's not a new thing, it's been that way forever.

Briggs will (hopefully) be Haye's last prep fight before the big fights. He's had a lot of time out of the ring so personally I'm prepared to cut him a bit of slack with regards opponent. The next one needs to be decent though and if it's Bellew he'll lose a lot of respect and a lot of supporters. Me included.
