Since we're all neutrals up here I thought it might be worth having a chat about England and their chances at the Euro's.
I had a watch of their game last night and thankfully managed to stay awake throughout.
I think they've got a decent team and with a good, strong manager they'd have a chance. Unfortunately they've got Woy. His tactics last night were a disaster and his unwillingness to change is going to seriously hamper him. Even last night, he left Dier on to play in front of a back four that weren't going to be overly tested. I like Dier, I think he could actually be an important player for England at the tournament, but he offered nothing against a team more intent on defending than attacking.
The big discussion is obviously on Rooney. Should he play or not? Personally I can't see how you can play him. You could possibly make the argument that they picked up a little when he was playing in the more advanced role but the role he was given simply didn't work, and it forced Kane and Vardy into wide areas and made them ineffective.

I'm going to say that Alli will be the scapegoat after he gets sent off in the knock out rounds after getting wound up.

I have a feeling we will see Ronney at he brilliant best in the competition.
That said still last 8 knock out for England I expect

Can't see past the French for this, I think England will do well though Wouldn't bother me in the slightest either if they won it, I go to watch Celtic but as for watching on tv, English football is what I mainly watch

To get the best from Kane and Alli, it would be best to play them in the positions they are accustomed to in the Spurs team
And I wouldn't bother giving Roonye another chance to show how gash he is at the very top level.
Still can't figure out why Jermaine Defoe isn't there.

If they get to the semi finals they will see it as a good tournament but I think they will get knocked out in the Quarters.
They look more of a team now but they still have loads of problems, the back 4 is average at best and in Rooney you have someone who seems to be giving his all but it's just not happening for him now.
