Arsenal trigger Vardy clause

If it's true, he will go. Even though we plucked him from nowhere to propel him to a Premier League winner, it's hard to turn Arsenal down at 29 years old.

Sky says arsenal want to talk to leicester about signing him. No bid reported so no release clause triggered, providing there is one in his contract. Its all ok though as we have zlatan and lukaku coming in

We could send the lookalike hoping they don't notice?

If he's going to leave he should go to Liverpool but he won't because of CL football.
This will be a bad deal for both Arsenal and Leicester and you have to seriously wonder what planet Wenger is on

It wouldn't be a bad deal for Arsenal. £20-25m given Arsenal's cash balance and revenue isn't a big deal.
Liverpool over Arsenal? Why?

Because he suits liverpools style and the way klopp wants to play.
I couldn't bear to watch Wenger waste him. It's not as if Arsenal are going to be playing a direct style of football any time soon

Assuming this is true, Vardy needs to be very careful about this move.
As things stand, Arsenal do not play the style of football that will benefit Vardy's attributes. From a footballing point of view, it's not a viable move for Vardy and he'll be a shadow of the player he is here. So unless Wenger has decided to adopt the same high pressing, counter-attacking football that Leicester play, the move makes no sense for anyone.
At Leicester, Vardy is a hero. A legend, even. At Arsenal he'll become just another player. Wenger's track record with strikers since Henry isn't great - look at how Walcott's career has gone. Has any striker since Henry done well at Arsenal?
To me, it seems like Vardy's agent is trying to cause mischief. He probably knows that this is his last chance to get a big cut of a large transfer fee. It might well be that the agent is working against Vardy's wishes, in which case I hope Vardy tells him to go.
Vardy is not a young man in football terms. A bad move here could ruin his career. It isn't against the realms of possibility that a bad period at Arsenal could see him end up at a Palace or a West Brom in two years time.
Ultimately, if he does go then so be it. He'll be hard to replace but I have faith in Walsh. Southampton have proved that losing your best players doesn't have to be the end of the story - sometimes it can be the start of another one.

I think this is just a desperate ploy by Wenger to try and disrupt his main rivals for the EPL title next season.☺

Or a cunning ruse to throw everyone off the scent while he steals in for Demarai Gray

=====
Eduardo up until the injury, Adebayor did well with us and fooled the world into thinking he was a 30m player, Rvp was the best striker in the league in his last couple of seasons with us, Giroud has done very well for a 12m player
