ultras?

Am I the only one who gets a bit ticked off every time thugs are given the title "ultras"? I am sure there are plenty of fanatical football followers who deserve the title ultras. The nobs who go to cause trouble should be referred to as thugs and nothing better

I agree. The name 'Ultras 'almost contributes to giving these thugs some kind of positive spin. Journalists help to create and develop this hysteria. The vast majority of football fans are peaceful and cooperate. Only a few hundred are involved in these fights but it gets a disproportionate amount of coverage.
