I've bailed out of a burning helicopter on GTA5 online, and had the chopper crash and kill about 8 players who were all having a gunfight with police. Had an amazing view of it from the safety of my parachute

On Football Manager 2011 I took the Bahamas to the Quarter-Finals of the World Cup, playing some of the worst football imaginable with just one threat up front.

Not a bad feat considering it is a tiny nation with a population of 310k and has not produced one player of note.

Couple of old warstories from back in the day based on half-life. So in my teen years half life modding was the big thing and i think there was one which was like a mixture of quake and cs (cs but the guns and bandages were randomly placed round the map).

Well one interesting thing you could do was throw knives and it had some (not much) physics attached to it, so if a player was far away you would have to aim above them. So the unrealistic thing was you could lob a knife 500m! Well every weekend me ans some friends would do lan parties, and in one of these i managed a ridiclous 400m+ knife throw head shot. This had us howling in laughter and stupid flukey.

The other not so much a million to one but a well planned mission.

Back in the day you could spray your logo in cs. And putting your own sprays in was stupidly difficult. Well one update they upped the pixel count from something 50x50 to i think it was 512x512 so you could for the first time have pictures as your spray.

So let me set the scene. We had sorted the teams to be young uns (brothers and friends who were 15ish) and me and my friends.

Over lunch we laboriously added a picture as a spray (it was hard!)

The perfect map comes up. A long corridor with a great hidey hole with perfect vision.

I spray the picture. We hide and then we wait.

A few seconds later one of the other team arrives and spies the picture, we hear from the other room laughter, and people being told to come and look.

Obviuosly the picture was pawn and quickly the entire team is there gawking at it.

This is of course the time we choose as a team to roll in our hand grenades. Its hilarous as the other team hears the sounds of the nades bouncing, it clicks it was just a trap!

I was playing resident evil 3 for the 100th time and completing it without saving, I was shooting a zombie at the top of some stairs and hit a barrel which killed me, I was about 20mins from completing it...

Probably not one in a million but has only happened that 1 time

Was at a mate's house with a few friends and he'd just got Fifa 11. First time any of us had played it, and in the first game from the kick-off I held long pass and lobbed the goalkeeper. Much to the annoyance of my mates I tried it in every game we ever played after that, although it never happened again. Wonder if it was a patch to the goalkeepers as they were utterly awful in the initial release.

Also once had a Warrior kill off a Gunship in Civ IV. For those that don't play, that's a group of men armed with clubs taking on an attack helicopter and winning.
