Tony Blair

With the publishing of the Chilcote report and it's none to favourable verdict on Blair, is it time to get the ball rolling on a war crimes trail?

5 stars. He's as guilty as a puppy next to a pile of poo.

1 star. No, despite everything it was the right thing to do.

It can't be used itself, but it shows a case could be made.

It was known in 2001 that the UK were going to join the US (regardless) and nothing has changed since.

Haven’t had a chance to read the report yet but have seen a few of the main points, including the release of some of the emails between Blair and Bush which affirmed the UK’s commitment to the invasion – whatever happened.

The report states " peaceful options not exhausted".

Exactly ! there are several points all of which condemn Blair and , to a lesser extent, his Govt. For me , the most damning is that he had made up his mind to invade before looking at all of the options !

Any 'war crime' indictement would also have to be served on Bush, Rumsfeld and Cheney. Why waste time and resources pursuing a non-starter?

Tony Blair 'a terrorist'
Posted at 13:03
Some of the families of those soldiers killed in Iraq are giving a press conference following the publication of Sir John Chilcot's report.

The sister of one soldier killed in Iraq says: "There is one terrorist that the world needs to be aware of and that person is Tony Blair."

Terrorist need to be made an example of. Starting with Blair

Who chooses the people to indicte?

Safe that you'll not be seeing any of Blair, Bush, Rumsfeld etc. standing trial any time soon. Or any time at all.

Had they been from Africa though.....

touche. Idi Amin was a very long time ago.

Maybe I should have written major Western leaders instead. They can commit war crimes too.
