Everyone we've successfully transitioned into the senior squad in recent seasons, has had a baptism of fire at one point or another.

Builds quite a bit of character.

LCFC won PL with two aged defenders as their CBs. Morgan was enormous, 31 is not that bad...Juve have defenders in late 20s early 30s?

PEA came out and said that it was a lie that he said he wanted to move to Madrid. Either way, we'd have to convince Dortmund to sell. May be worth offering 50 mill and seeing if they counter offer.

As for defenders, why oh why are we not looking at Ashley Williams? Big, powerful, great in the air and has decent pace. Would think him perfect next to Kos...

Defenders can play at the highest level into mid thirties and some go beyond. The next generation (chambers, holding etc) are 4-5 years before they'd be ready for starting on a regular basis. So 31 is perfect!
