Life is full off rumours without them it'd be boring, but why should there not be someone having a good look?..

Went to school with Steve Tappin. See him regularly when he is back here in Harrogate. Unless he has something real to say, he keeps his mouth shut.

That's why I believe he has done this to put pressure on both Cellino and the buyers.

The buyers have been waiting for over a year now. He knows who they are and that they are seriously wealthy. Hes shown his hand and is waiting to see who blinks first.

But unless their is fan pressure or circumstances with the FL change then I think he will hold on to the club as long as he can.

Steve is seriously loaded too. Could be interesting.

Not sure why they need a consortium tbh. One of the guys reported to me is worth £billions.

However I can see the need to be careful. Money isn't everything! We need someone who is committed long term and won't just pull the plug if we don't go up straight away.

Serious money needed to buy us, get us promoted AND keep us up!

I'd say the £100m quoted is minimum unless we go up within two years.

Who is the newly announced owner of WBA? These folks or someone else?
