Also why did you come out with that daft comment on defending the CS that Moyes won, yesterday.

You can't defend a trophy you don't have.

Blind actually looks better at cb than midfield.

I wouldn't be against playing him as a holding midfielder, but I share TRC's concerns about Baily and Smalling bringing the ball out from the back.

Guess it also depends how Mourinho wants to set up the midfield. Morgan and Pogba as an athletic midfield potentially works but Morgan will really need to improve if he's to be a first teamer.

My money is still on Carrick playing the majority of games cm providing he doesn't suffer injuries.

Blind can be there to take the ball off the two cb's though, pretty much as carrick had to when Rio wasnt playing.

Also as pointed out above, his stint at CB will most definately improved the defensive side of his game.

people saying he is too soft need to look at the challenge he planted on vardy yesterday in the first half.

Dunc, yeah that's true. Though for me it's been a problem when Carrick or another midfielder has to drop deep to pick up the ball as we could do with them being a bit further forward.

Yeah in theory playing cb should help. But it's a different role, so Blind needs to play games to adapt to the needs of this team in defensive midfield rather than cb. He's intelligent enough to do so and purely playing games in the premier league has helped him get used to the higher standard and more physical nature of the league compared to in Holland.

Also worth noting that if Morgan and Pogba do play games together Blind's presence at the back becomes even more important because we don't want Pogba dropping deep all the time to collect the ball and Morgan's passing is average so he shouldn't be tasked with distributing it to the forwards.
