Those part-time teams are decent after all, eh?
A poor, poor result for United on Saturday. I wasn't at the game so I won't say too much about it other than a defeat at Dumbarton is never acceptable. It's just so frustrating after what was a good performance mid-week.
It shows that we haven't adapted to teams sitting in against us and our lack of forward options are damaging us. We need more movement and a perhaps a more physical presence up-front to help Murray - who in my opinion should have started ahead of Obadeyi. You play your best team and Obadeyi up front is not going to part of our best team.
We need to start putting wins on the board starting this weekend. I remain hopeful that we'll bring in a player this week - not sure what's happened to the Dutch lad we had on trial for CB - another area we're weak in. Durnan I believe was back to his hopeless self.
Not a great weekend for the Terrors and much work ahead for Ray and the boys.

By the way for the Bears reading on - could you have a word with your fans about not vandalising Tannadice when you're visiting the City of Discovery?
It's poor form chaps.

Graffiti was sprayed over Tannadice.
One message saying "Possil Loyalists - Bash washers" and another saying "Feck U Thomson".
He'll probably be more annoyed they spelled his name wrong.

Curly - suggests to me it was pre-planned as well if they brought the stuff through with them.
I've never understood the desire to vandalise things.

To be fair, you don't understand the desire to be a Rangers fan either.

Wasn't at the match either but I watched the online highlights (the Dumbarton official ones). We looked toothless up front. For me Murray should probably be starting, although he had a great opportunity when he was on to square the ball to Cammy Smith for what would almost certainly have been a goal but elected to shoot instead.
As for Durnan and the hairdo in central defence... Looks like we'll be selling Harry Souttar, we desperately need someone in the middle to start bossing that defence. Toshney looks fine and I think Robson will be really decent, it's just the clowns in the middle who worry me!
