Preston North End 0 - 1 Derby County

The matches come thick and fast as I still await to witness my first game, first hand, this season ......last born is very poorly and cannot travel to Preston and Pizza Hut tonight

A lot of hand wringing, angst and bewilderment abound. Something is not 'working' and whilst we are far from 'clicking', we are not even functioning. Allegedly. Will it end in tears and recriminations by the time old beardy accesses your chimney? (What a great innuendo ).

Hendrick will be out but Bent is available as also is Camera . This makes it possible to enact our 27th combination of formation this season.......we didn't have this problem last year....did we?

Derby have not been beaten in the last six games against Preston, however Preston have not won any of their last seven league games at Deepdale. I may add that Derby have not scored in their last three league games. Someone is going to be very happy tonight 😀
Preston are without striker Garner who wants to join Rangers which may indicate a little unrest in the camp. They are also without Makienok and Pearson - striker and midfielder respectively.

So, I will leave you with mention of Dalian Atkinson, a footballer of that generation, who just missed out on the stupid money and struggled when his career came to end. There are many like that, execarbated by an inability to cope made worse by that macho male taboo of mental illness. RIP Dalian.
