Wenger needs to stop faffing around. Just accept that we're stuffed as we're an English club AND the entire world of football knows we're now desperate for defenders. Just stump up the cash ffs. He's trying to negotiate like we can dictate things as the buyer. Needs to accept we're in the massively disadvantaged situation we are. REALITY CHECK It's sellers terms all round. If he keeps trying to keep the price low, we're really gonna come unstuck as we'll get nobody.

What annoys me is that all we heard last season was how much money the EPL clubs were going to get. That plus finishing second plus the fact we spend sweet FA means we really don't need to be risking losing signings by trying to keep the price down.
