Mahrez signs new contract

It's an great sign of intent from the owners, they are not stupid they see the rumors, and flew over to the states to sort this. Kante had his own agenda but to only lose one player in this window shows we will stick around despite what the fan boys want to believe.

Comparing Mahrez to one other random player like Michu is just odd anyway....seems like football fans are bitter of our success after all.

Great news, it will keep him here until next summer when I would expect him to move on if he has any good season. Speculation will start again in Jan, that's the nature of the beast but at least he isn't going anywhere for now.

Leandro Paredes seems to be the one we are most linked with but he is in demand. More like a Pirlo type player than a box to box player but with Inler set to leave, we need to bring someone else in.

Let's give Mendy a chance first. We haven't seen much of him so far and pre-season was just bad for everyone.

If we finish in the top 5 and have a decent run in the CL.
Then make further quality buys next year, would Mahrez leave to go to another prem club? I don't think so.
Barca maybe or Real possible but our profile could rise just as Man City did.
