Walk the walk!

Does feel like we've heard this a few times before over the last 25 years, must admit Im more optimistic now than Ive ever been, but there is a lot of work to do yet.

I do think we are right to have cautious optimism about the future. This takeover could be one of the best things to happen to Wolves in their history. It could be a calamity. It is likely to be somewhere in between but lets hope more positive than negative.

Fosun are rich, how much they are prepared to invest we are yet to see. Why the much talked about Talisca deal didn't happen we may never truly find out but that would have removed any doubts about the will to invest if it had happened. People have said they would rather us have bought 4 x £5m players instead. Good idea but I suspect we won't. Truth is the total outlay so far is less than £5m, lets see whether that changes much before the end of the transfer window.

The jury will be out on the manager and backroom set up for a while yet.

Time will tell but lets form a first view on how the squad looks at the end of August, lets see how results and performances are by autumn, and lets see if we are any closer to being a promotion challenging team in the winter.

We have played well in 1.5 games out of 3 so far. Not a bad start, but we are still short of being a promotion team, and as some of the guys we have bought in are on one year contracts or one year loans, then this squad is intended to be all about promotion this season.

Take the 2 new players out the team and it's worse than the one KJ started with, we wont go up this season without 4-5 new players....................we should just except that give WZ time then next season BOOOOOOM smosh the league reeeeeal good like

Don't think there is any doubt fosun want promotion as soon as possible.

Guess in two weeks we will know where we stand with our squad and I expect we will see several comings and goings.

Also expect one 'bigger' signing of over five million as I believe they want to be taken seriously by us fans.

It's all well and good having the money but you need to be a well run club for true success and the proof will be in the pudding. It's too early to know.

So while the likes of uncle w@nk wong go around other boards giving it large because you have some money for a change, he would do well to remember the likes of Cardiff under Vincent Tan and even Forest under Al Fackwit
