Roberto and Henry, odd.

Roberto Martinez has named Thierry Henry as his number two managing Belgium.

I guess it's more of a part-time job than coaching Arsenal's under-19s.

Wouldn't mind that at all.

I'm glad Henry's found a gig so soon after leaving us. There's obviously a very big problem with transitioning players into management at Arsenal.

He tried forging a path in a hostile environment and hit a brick wall. I wish him all the best.

I would hate Martinez to be our coach. We're already bad enough at defending as it is, without his contribution.

There's a good manager in Martinez somewhere.

Or maybe I just like him cos he seems nice, I dunno.

despite most people criticising Thierry about his pundit work I have felt he has got better. He is not as clueless as Carragher who I liked as a player but is still hopeless.

After Liverpool spanked us 4-3 he goes on and says there is excitement about Liverpool and they are a more progressive club now unlike Arsenal who are stake and then Neville had to remind him they finished 8th.

I am happy for Henry, there is a lot to learn from doing the actual job rather than sitting and telling us about football.

Wenger was right to tell him to choose, at least now Henry can be honest without having conflict of interest. He'll be back I'm sure

I guess we'll just have to wait for the next batch of player autobiographies to know what really happened between him and Wenger.

The fact remains that every former player looking to go into coaching and management bolts straight out of the door the first chance they get.

I've always been a fan of the gaffer but seeing Arteta at City has been very hard to take.

you are reading too much into this. The only reason Arsene kept renewing Arteta's contract was for his input on coaching matters. Mikel probably asked for an opportunity to work under Pep.He will definitely be back.

Viera did an interview recently where he was asked about going back to arsenal and said his relationship with wenger and he said he has learnt all he needs to learn from Wenger and has only wanted to learn new things but him and Wenger are still close

I don't like seeing Arteta there, but it's the best choice for both Arteta and Arsenal, think of the future. He's training under the best managers in the world.

Arteta was so emotional on the last day of the season, he has Arsenal in his heart and he'll be back
