So Schweiny played his final match for Germany and....among the national team's fans, there really does seem to be surprise and even a little anger towards his exclusion by Jose Mourhino.
So, I'm wondering what people really think is the reason. I know this has been discussed a lot but I thought I'd consolidate the reasons I've heard.
(1) JM simply thinks BS no longer cuts it as a top notch premier league player and feels that he would be below Fellaini, Herrera, Schneiderlin and Carrick is the race to play alongside Pogba.
(2) Similar to the above but more that he doesn't fit into JM's style as well as those above would.
(3) That he's concerned about his injury record and doesn't want to build the team on that risk.
(4) Realises that he has quite a few over thirties (Rooney, Zlatan, Carrick) and doesn't want more as part of his core team.
(5) BS was close to LVG (signed by him in 2015 but also managed by him previously). JM doesn't want that history in the dressing room?
(6) Some kind of personality clash/something said.

The OP is trying to come out with reasons for his terrible treatment but all those reasons are flimsy as Darren the king felchēr's participation in this thread. A lot of clubs have many unwanted players all the time but you rarely see them treated like Bastian. You know this is true. It's an embarrassment but still desperate to find that one excuse that will stick, when there really isn't.
I know the truth hurts but let's be civil here and not just start abusing posters and imagining (or wishing) they are disliked just because you don't want to hear it. A minority of you are calling it like it is, the rest are jumping from one excuse to another trying to make it stick.
