Dont know what people expect. He cant magic up a new bunch of players. This is who we are - a 6/10 footballing nation that wins 1-0 against 5/10 opposition. All he can do is get the players better prepared than before and perhaps we'll produce the goods against better footballing sides.

Agreed.

Been saying and arguing it for many a year, we aren't as good as some people think, including the hyped up PL stars.
Many a country have technically better players.
We really don't have a top star player like a Messi/Ronaldo/Bale/Pogba/Neymar etc etc
Rooney needs to retire, everyone including the media are obsessed with him and his role.

Did you expect us to transform into Barca ffs? You could appoint a Pep/Jose/Fergie hybrid and they wouldn't muster up a half entertaining performance from this lot.

It's not all about technical skill it's a team game.

Rooney running round like a headless chicken hitting Hollywood passes isn't helping to play as a team.

No, just highlighting the fact that when a team play negatively it can impact on your performance

First game, new manager, never managed the players. A disjointed performance was expected. I'm a bit amazed by your reaction to be honest

Bench him, play Lallana were he is playing and add another striker and we are in business
