It's only a matter of time before the sheikh gets bored of his plaything or the oil runs out or FFP turns us into a footballing version of Woolworths

I note the oil price has slipped again today and the swiss have taken 7% off the value of the franc, so the slippery slope has already arrived, do you wnat me to give you a wee push?

All our scandals start in Stockport and are always half empty.

And lest we forget, we once had only 3007 fans turn up to a scandal once.

All our player only sign for the scandals, whereas United's players like to create their own as they're class.

This is surreal, this "scandal" is so devastating, so indicative of a club rotten to the core, buffeted by one controversy after another, that clearly it is only sensible for Sheikh Mansour to immediately sever all ties with City, demolish the Etihad Stadium, and sow the ground with salt, or perhaps not.

Cook is a successful business man, who has held high powered positions elsewhere, if my experience of such people is anything to go by he'll be a ruthless so and so, fiercely driven and a man who suffers fools badly, if he sent the email so what? I don't expect anything from Cook other than to do his job, I'm not going to invite him round for a drink and I'm not going to ask him to marry my daughter.

Clearly Cook is so devastated by this scandal he's still on holiday in the States.

The world is full of real scandal and atrocity, more than enough to dismiss this synthetic "controversy" and to see it for the piece of nothing that it is.
