That's not a good angle. While it's very harsh he did a cheeky and imo deliberate foul.

What did he do that was "a cheeky"?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Leaves his arm out deliberately. It was soft and both players reactions afterwards were typically pathetic but I don't see how it warrants an appeal - a yellow card is harsh but not wrong.

It was a foul, definitely a from that angle, and if you're dumb enough to do that when you're on a you deserve the that you've earned.

Dumb. A55!

Oh fair enough in that case... he wouldn't stop going on at him.

It NEEDS to be clamped down and all the players have been told it will... so shut the fack up.

Totally agree with this.

Giroud will probably feel a bit hard done by but the fact is refs have been told to clamp down on back-chat and/or abusive language. It's not that difficult to understand.

Can't happen soon enough for me, hate it when players gob off at the ref. Sooner it's out of our game the better.

If I were the Arsenal owners I'd be fining him for it - knew the rules, chose to ignore them and in doing so made himself ineligible to do his job.

I have no sympathy for a player who gets a second yellow when one of the bookings was for dissent. If Giroud hadnt mouthed off earlier, he would have stayed on the pitch. Only has himself to blame, and for the second season in a row.

1) No you cannot appeal a yellow. Remember Fletch missing the CL Final for nothing?

2) Giroud started it. He fouled Verratti. No sympathy.

Marquinhos pulled a Diego Costa. Got to have sympathy for a victim of that.

Send yellow I feel he had a right to complain/state his case to the ref

Not if he was already booked for dissent! Simply stupid and totally avoidable in Giroud's case.

Glad you got a draw though. Need our clubs to progress to keep our co-efficient points strong

I actually thought Giroud got a straight red while Veratti got a second yellow!
