Mourinho is past it. Utd are past it. Utd are now a normal team. AC Milan, Inter Milan, Ajax and now utd. All these clubs had long dominance in their country and even had great success in Europe. Utd have to accept the fact that they have fallen off. The success they had in Fergie era is unparalleled and it only makes sense for them now to be average.
Mourinho and not lvg two coaches who likes utd were one world class are too average.

Yeah but those clubs didnt have the money coming in like Utd do.. They havent won the league for years yet the fackers are still posting record revenues and announcing new sponsorship deals. They'll get it right one year but only after spending another shtload of money.

With the money they've had and spent, United can't be compared to Inter, AC and Ajax. They're in a laughable, pathetic, league of their own.

I think the interest and money in english football makes it difficult for any team to create a dynasty like Fergie did. Football is far too competitive at the moment.

the money united has however makes their fall from grace slower than the one Liverpool experienced. You have to ask yourself how united buy the likes of Pogba(a decision he will regret) and Di maria without CL football?

The short term approach is what will eventually kill of united though, just like Liverpool. Why they did not at least approach Pep is mind boggling unless they only decided to replace LVG after Pep had signed for City
