Utd's Next Manager: Betting

Hi all,

Many on here like a dabble on the footy now and then so I thought I would list the odds on Utd's next manager:

Giggs:
We knew this would come up again. Still not in work and forced out by Mourinho he still holds the ideals of the club closely. Could be considered a risk but they have appointed two tried and tested managers already and it's not working. 4/1

Koeman:
We all know Everton have Stockholm syndrome when it comes to Utd and Koemans stock is steadily rising. Utd would have no trouble buying out his contract, he plays football the right way and would be able to replace the leaving Martial with Barkley. 2/1

Phelan:
A Utd Man who oversaw some great achievements at the Devils. Knows the club, the fans and a lot of the coaching staff. Could steady the ship as he has at Hull. Evens

Pochettino:
Says he is happy at Spurs but would struggle to turn down Utd. Would likely bring Kane with him to replace Ibra. Plays decentish footy and creates a strong defence but has not won a trophy ever of any kind. Didn't stop Moyes though. 4/1

Anchelotti:
Many Utd fans wanted the classy and successful Italian. Could give younger Utd fans the instant glory that made them follow the club in the first place and has managed big players. 6/1

Utd will be searching far and wide now so if anyone has a curve ball suggestion that the bookies are missing please post here.

Poor article, but if United are looking to get rid after a whole 5 league games then Klopp will be in the running no doubt, he'll want to win trophies at some point too

"He also said team selection is the managers responsibility and for that it was his fault.

Funny what journalists miss out isn't it?"

Where? I've not seen him say that.

You can listen to the actual interview if you want to, I'm not going to.

He told Sky Sports: “In the first half they were much better than us. We started the game bad.

“We started the game with some players really below their normal level in terms of their concentration and mental availability to play a game of this speed.

“You need to be sharp the way you think and the way you play.

"One or two players were below that level and the team paid for it.

"Honestly, I have two or three players in the first half who, if the game is now and I know what is going to happen, I don't play them, but this is football and sometimes players disappoint managers and sometimes players give us great surprises.”

However, the former Chelsea boss then appeared to do a u-turn and point the finger at himself, adding: “Therefore it is my fault, I am the manager and it was my fault because it was my choice.”
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So he basically slagged his players off, realised what he'd done, and then backtracked.

He then went on to do the same after the Watford match, without the backtracking this time.

I'm no Jose fan, but it's there in plain text for you.

I haven't heard the Watford interview, however I'm sure it's as shambolic as all his others to date.

its my fault because regardless who plays its my no 1 job to motivate them, to inspire them as a team. There are forces conspiring against me doing this, but no way have i lost my inspirational skills, you'll see.
