The new Home Nations series kicks off with the winner of next month's first in the four-part series winning the Steve Davis Trophy.
The Northern Ireland Open trophy will be named after Alex Higgins.
The first of the Home Nations begins with the English Open, running from 10-16 October in Manchester.

Anyone been watching the International Championship. Semi final today is between Ding and Judd, Ding is winning 6-2 at the moment. Semi finals are best of 11. Tommorow's other semi final is between Bingham and Selby. It would have been nicer if Ding and Judd played the other 2 in the semis and both won and then met in the final. That would be the dream final!
