Tom Naylor from mansfield?

Has apparently been watched my a lot of championship and even a few premiership clubs.

Could be a good prospect

I don't think he's that fat and you're hoping to sign him permanently.

He sounds a good prospect, I was hoping we'd take him but remembered we don't do that scouting thing.

yes but still looks like we go no further than the local borders does it. Doesnt really matter if he has been watched by loads of clubs really, just that he might be alright and a good prospect. I have yet to see us develop any scouting network beyond local teams. I could be wrong but it was just a humerous comment.

I remember when we had a scouting network that just encompassed Scotland & anywhere an ex-PNE player happened to be.

That didn't turn out so well...

Belper & Derby Fan here. He was at loan with us for a season a couple of years ago. He was playing in midfield then and was quality! Got player of the season. Meant to be proper down to earth and made a bit of an impression down at the Meadow. The talk then was that he'd be going places due to his ability at that age. Good luck to him!

I've seen Tom play a few times when he was at Alfreton and against them for Mansfield. He is a great lad and I'd be happy if we signed him. He'll be a better squad player than Buxton
