Vargas vs Pacquiao

The 8th Wonder of the World, the 8 weight World Champion, an all time a great and the greatest fighter of his generation, Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao come out of retirement to take on a Young Hungry Strong Lion in WBO Welterweight Champion Jessie Vargas.

Vargas who only defeat was a points loss to multi-weight Champ Timothy Bradley is the younger man by 11 years in his prime and looking to defend his crown after an impressive KO win over the highly rated Saddam Ali.

Pacquiao is probably 5/6 years away from his prime, he came in at 144lbs but not as shredded as he was back then.

Vargas has height, weight and reach advantages over Pacquiao who in truth is a lightweight, but has been fighting above his natural weight for many years now.

But Manny Pacquiao is Manny Pacquiao, past his best, but still a beast, lightening fast hands power, superior footwork and most of all that boxing brain.

I think Vargas will come in looking to get a KO over a faded Pacquiao but this will be his undoing, This will suit Pacquiao style, he loves a a fight a no one (apart from 1 fight with Marquez) comes out on top against Pacquiao in a fire fight.

Pacquiao in 7 for me.
