Surely it's time to ditch the Hater Hats now. He is:

Got more goals off the bench than anyone else to play for Arsenal.
Currently more prolific than Greizmann for France
The most prolific in the air in the EPL (Since his arrival in 2012, no other striker in the league has more headed goals than his 21).
Seriously, how much more does Olivier Giroud have to do for Arsenal fans to admit that he is in fact a top drawer striker and his "low for a top striker" EPL tallies. Are far more about Arsenal's playing style, Arsenal's lack of MF/Defensive stability, for half his time at the club and Wenger playing him too long. Than they are about his lack of striker's prowess. Giroud should not be criticised for Wenger putting a midfield of jelly and a defense too slow for a high line, behind him. Wenger's mistakes are a separate issue from Giroud's quality. People saying Giroud isn't top drawer are merging the two issues into one.
Testament to his quality is that he's scored more headed goals than anyone in his EPL time. OG must have had near the worst aerial service in the league. Our players have been poor at crossing for years. Yet he's still got more headed goals than Benteke or Carroll who both played in teams who played to their aerial strength and are considered "beasts" in the air. OG is top quality. Just the wrong type of player for our main attacking style. If we played differently, he'd score more. I don't want us to change our style, just for Arsenal fans to stop saying he's rubbish because he's not suited to it.
There's more than one way to play the game of football. So being a top striker and fitting Arsenal's style of play are not mutually exclusive. Some Gooners need to stop denying him his due credit. You don't manage some of the stats he has, without being top quality at what you do.

According to wiki Giroud has 12 goals in 28 games in Europe for Arsenal and Henry has 42 goals in 84 appearances. I cannot see a single goal scoring stat there that Giroud beats Henry on. Cant be bothered to check Judas record as well.

As I said earlier, Giroud is good when he is fresh and crap when hes tired. In his first games he would have been fresh so it doesnt surprise me. He has a max of 2 months playing regularly before he goes downhill so fast he should be an Olympic skier

Won't get any argument from me there. I've not written this as a call for Giroud to be first choice again. Just for critics to change their critique. He's underrated by many fans and downright disrespected by others. Time for both to stop IMO. People need to stop talking as though fitting Arsenal's style of play is necessary to be one of the best striker's out there. It isn't, it's entirely possible for a player (any player not just a striker) to be one of the best in the world AND unable to fit into the way we play.
As I said earlier Aquero would hardly score any if City insisted on playing him in an aerial target man role. And he's undoubtedly one of the world's best striker's. Wenger has effectively done the equivalent of that with Giroud.

I actually think he'll finish this season with his highest Arsenal tally to date. Purely by virtue of staying fresh all season.
