After the news that once again one of the horses in the charge of Nicky Henderson has been reported to have failed a drugs test it seems that it must be time to revoke his licence.
He has a stable full of stars of course but he also has a number of horses that could only be described as pedestrian. The main one that springs to mind is Binocular. This former champion Hurdler (the one where he beat such luminaries as Khyber Kim and a three legged solwhit) lived up to his anme at Punchestown when he needed bincoulars to see where Hurricane fly had gone.
With that in mind what would the forum most like to see him do next?
vote 5 stars for joining another stable where he can play second fidle to much better horses
vote 4 stars for being the pony that leads New Approach's foals to the starting gate
Vote 3 stars for taking up show jumping - at least he wonlt have to run too fast
Vote 2 stars for going to Jon jo o Neil's stable so that AP mcCoy's fam,ily have a harmless horse that they can use to learn to ride.
Vote 1 star for being hired out as a cart horse for channel 4s "My Big fat gypsy wedding"

Mr Henderson and Binocular are a perfect combination – rather like strawberries and cream, fish and chips and Richard and Judy.
Mr Henderson has masterminded his career which has resulted in numerous ‘top table’ successes which pinancled, of course, in the 2010 Champion Hurdle when Binocular effortlessly triumphed and in doing so became one of the easiest winner s of that great heat for many a year.
And don’t rule out the 2 of them combining to take the old Champion Hurdle in 2012!
