So, 2017 is the Chinese year of the Rooster (or Cockerel).
Let`s hope it brings Spurs some luck.
Other years of the Rooster include 1921, 1933, 1945, 1957, 1969, 1981, 1993 and 2005.
We all know what happened in 21 and 81, it`s time the year of the Cockerel struck again!
We are well overdue a trophy, 2 league cups in 26 years is very poor for a club like Spurs.

It's happened before when the year of the cockerel appears Spurs have won a trophy. It happened the same year as France won the grand slam at rugby, the French symbol being the cockerel. It happens.
