The players just needed to get over last year and remember we have only lost one at home this and most of last season so TB stop winding BS up.

TB you said yesterday why was i not giving CR the same stick as NP because CR is a better man and manager than NP could ever be and also we weren't even before Yesterday nailed to the bottom of the League waiting for another Italian to save us.

I wouldn't know what BS is feeling Nev, I filtered him on his 7th coming as he just proved he's nothing more than a clueless WUM in his return post, much better forum without having to read his trash!

As for your second part, did you just dream that in the desert because I never said any such thing, have you had too much sun?

We performed as last season CR had not lost the dressing room and sticks to 4-4-2 or 4-4-1-1 because it works.
The only people who want it changed are a section of fans. Footballer play in pairs in 442 and have done all through there careers.

Sorry Nev - Ranieri may be a better all round manager, a better tactician and a good man manager.

But to suggest Pearson's biggest strength is actually a weakness makes you look a little biased and clouded by your opinions of the man.

People wanted the formation changing because we were struggling and didn't look like we had the players available to make 4-4-2 work. Well that has all gone out of the window. The players believed in it and as soon as they turn up they perform the way they did to make them Champions. They just need to turn up more consistently now, see if we can get last season's consistency back.

I think you miss 3 very important words off here Nev. in your opinion.

Because I've never seen any evidence presented to me to back this accusation up.

He was an awkward man. Poor with the media. A strong character. A disciplinarian.

But a bully?

He is also one of the best man managers ever to manage our club. In my opinion.

Ask the Derby fans what they think of his man management

Kidding Mersey, he's a good man manager with the players but a poor tactician and he certainly demonstrated bullying behaviour to certain people in the media - not least a very young journalist who completely unfairly got the ostrich treatment. That is bullying behaviour really because he put him down in a pretty nasty way in front of everyone and made reference to his weight

Let's just be honest hey Mersey? You might love him as a manager but let's not paper over the obvious.

However unlike Nev I don't think he was an unhinged terrorist

No denying he had his failings BS.

I don't think he was tactically useless but he certainly never seemed able to change games with subs and Ranieri had put him to shame in that department.

I just don't like it when people forget all the positives and make out he was something he was not. Like a bad man manager!!

Yeah fair enough. It just shows how bias certain people on this board can be. There will be some who never get Pearson credit for anything. Honestly speaking, I grew tired of NP and it was absolutely right that the owners got rid, but you can't deny the contribution he made in turning us around. - a pretty big one.

Now I've given Ranieri plenty of stick lately but I'm honest enough to admit it was unfair at times and I genuinely hope he continues to build here. But sadly there are a couple of posters on here who can't wait for him to fail...
