I think this was definitely a game earlier in the season we certainly would not have won, so to come away with another 3 points is great even if we were very fortunate. Burton came and fair play to them had a right go at us, but this is to be expected as many will come to do the same and get a scalp of beating Villa on their own patch. We certainly need to improve though especially for the Leeds game. Gardner still fails to justify his place in the team and Mccormack although scoring seems way off the pace. I'm sure Brucey knows the central midfield needs strengthening and a few will come in January .. UTV !!!

Very relieved we won but again the performance was poor. Didn't actually see the game but from the stats it looked like Burton were all over us, which is concerning as quite frankly we should have dominated the game & won comfortably. Leeds will be a bigger test & we must up our game. I'd like to see Ayew, Grealish & Tshibola come in, & maybe Gollini too.
Central midfield is a key area we need to strengthen, but we need to ensure the person coming in improves us. If they're no better than Westwood or Gardner then no point. I actually think Tshibola is a better player than those two but doesn't get a look in. Delph/McCarthy, Jenkinson, Abel Hernandez & Johnstone (the ManUnited GK) would be good business but I think we should keep faith in Gollini personally.

Agree about Gollini. He's still learning, but he's OK providing the defence in front of him is doing its job, and there's a massive talent there. The only thing is a return to Italy might suit him.
We need a midfielder who can snuff out opposition attacks. Jedi does his bit but he's not quick enough on his own.
