Agree with you up to a point for me we got Beattie of the wage bill but also I would of let Healy go aswell and brought someone like McFadden in especially if your getting him for free!

Steed Malbranque is available on a free, he would be a much better signing imho.

True Bluetoon, but my point is that nomatter how narrow-minded it gets, it hasn't ever had any bearing on who signs for who. Well, not since 1987 or whenever it was.

I read an interview with McFadden where he said he wasn't interested in signing for either half of the OF because of all the sectarian baggage that comes with it. However, this was a few years ago when he was in demand in England. He may take a more pragmatic view these days.

Think he's training with Leeds right now, but his ability isn't in doubt.

I'd take McFadden in an instant. He'd still be great in the SPL.
