I saw that comment about. Phillips on the BBC website. I must have been watching a different game. Just shows.
Likewise a Villa supporter on 606 saying they just edged the game. Both delusional!

Phillips was poor first half, picked it up in the second half and made some vital interceptions. I've seen him have much worse games, and wouldn't say that his overall performance was poor.

Even Game, yes Leeds hit the woodwork twice but you hardly dominated the game. Two even teams in my opinion but Monk doing a great job.

Must have been thinking of Kevin Phillips

Phillips was dire the first half. It seemed like every time he got the ball he passed it to the opposition.

Second half was an improvement, but still not good enough to be in the team.

At the 13 minute mark I remember that I was already wishing he would be subbed.

IMO he should be sent out on loan somewhere distant.

Philips should be handed his P45..sick of you lot trying to defend him
