5000+ fans from the East Midlands will make the trip to the Hawthornes which will make the eyes of the West Broms squint in genuine envy at the following a Championship, yes Championship side such as Derby County can muster. Oh, that West Brom could do the same in the PREMIER LEAGUE........but they can't ....and never will because they are quite boring to watch.....plus .....well, they lack humour.....
So, West Brom's big game, their cup final, their chance to avenge 2007 etc etc, it's all quite embarrassing but for Derby fans it's a chance to have a laugh, not take themselves seriously like their opponents and take a win, if not, so what?

Vidal, I praise players when they play well and criticise them when they don't. Are you telling me that Ince wasn't running the ball in to blind alleys, Johnson was passing the ball accurately and Baird was moving the ball quickly up field.
A footballer is only as good as his last performance. Thankfully these three have improved of late.

Spart, this isn't the first time we have had this discussion. Once again, there is a difference between criticising an individual performance and drawing an absolute conclusion about how good a player might be. In professional football there are few individuals not capable of doing well in the right circumstances. It isn't about being either a good player or a bad player. With the three players mentioned it wasn't that they were terrible players but that the way the team was set up did not get the best out of them. Johnson was often played wide left, Ince crowded out playing on the wing as opposed to having the license to come infield and Baird either playing midfield or to play as an overlapping full back. With Vydra I also think he is not suited to our team. He isn't useless but he doesn't appear to be capable of playing on his own as a front player. I don't know why you insist this is my "defending" him - it's just an opinion. I think he would do well in the right team. Do you think he is not good enough to play at this level?
