Pretty good weekend for us really.....

Especially considering last night could've been a 'banana skin' with or without Costa in the team.

But other results (most) have went our way too.

Liverpool were worrying me when they were 2nd. It's a long way to go yet though, for all of us.

Actually Liverpool and Spurs are on the same points, only goal difference separates them

spurs have only won the last 5, ourselves and utd have had longer runs, so they don;t keep winning

Chelsea have always been pretty good front runners, which perturbs me a bit, but Man Utd lost an 8 point lead with 6 games left in the Aguroooooo season and they were a side used to winning titles. Arsenal lost a healthy lead in 2003 and they won titles either side of that season so hardly bottlers at the time, which they have been accused of since.

gunner not said and done at all. But i'm quite glad that it is not a two horse race like back in the day. All the chasing pack are looking over their shoulders as well as looking infront of them

So winning 6 games on the trot is not defined as keep winning??? Interesting

it's 5 on the bounce in the league which, when we are talking about league positions etc is important.

So you've won a few but it's not relentless like we were.

2 points gained, extended our lead to 7 points, so it can't be bad. Spurs were doing well last season until April then they ran out of steam.

We have beaten Hull, Burnley, Southampton, Watford, Chelsea and West Brom in the last 6 PL matches, plus Villa in the FA Cup.

Now I make that SIX league wins on the bounce plus the cup game means we have won 7 matches since losing to United.
