I wrote the above article last season; City on paper have a decent squad, but Pep's recruitment of players has been woeful. Why does City continue to overspend on young players while neglecting key positions, such as full back. It is criminal to have Zabaleta, Sagna, and Clichy as starters. Not trying to WUM, but you could tell they might falter with the squad they had relative to what Pep likes to use. Fernando

Peps the one who signed Stones, Bravo, Gundagon, Sane. He knew he was joining City for lets face it almost a year so he would have been watching and looking at the squads weaknesses.
The City DOF are former barca men and the players signed before pep arrived would have been in the Pep mould.

The problems we have now are more or less the same problems we had last season. Can't blame him for playing Zab in midfield as we have a bit of a gap there through injuries and suspensions. It worked against West Ham and failed at Everton. That's football. It mystifies me why we haven't done something to strengthen the full back position though.

Like Mourinho at Chelsea last season it doesn't take much to get the dressing room full of superstars not pulling for the manager despite proven methods.
Bar the keeper the blame is laid at Guardiolas door, the same door they were hanging garlands on after 10 games.
The pressure is off the players because the headline will always be the manager and in the premier a drop of small percentages in real effort and desire shows.
One transfer window is not enough for an overhaul.

Golfers have a saying, beware the injured golfer!
City are currently wounded, I just hope that Saturday does not see them shrug off this wounded self & turn in a great performance against us.
However, I have every confidence in Spurs, and if City were to beat us, then I am sure it will be deserved, because we don't make it easy for any team these days
