Khan vs Brook: Who's ducking who?

So it looks like Khan and Brook are back at it again with the ducking and dodging. The latest instalment involves Khan offering a 70-30 split and Hearn and Brook turning it down. What follows is an amusing back and forth but the crux of the matter is, the fight isn't happening.

Personally, I think the fight cannot happen in the first half of 2017. Both men are coming off losses and surgery. A tune up fight would suit them better and target the back end of 2017 for the big showdown. However it seems that might also be in doubt because of the failure on both sides to come to terms with an agreed split. So who's to blame?

I have to lay the blame on Khan. He has asked Brook to jump through hoops and Brook has done so but Khan continues to create stipulations and obstacles that Brook must overcome. The biggest roadblock was Khan's insistence that Brook fight a big name. That was achieved last year against Golovkin. The newest hurdle is a 70-30 split which I perceive as being optimistic and unrealistic from Khan. A 60-40 or 55-45 makes more sense. We know Khan is the A side but he isn't that big of a name to warrant a 70-30 split.

I hope these two can come to some sort of an agreement because this is the biggest fight in the UK right now.

The Eubanks are a laughing stock. I've also watched those interviews and they have all been painful. The most recent one is Sr saying his son would "wreck Andre Ward"

As for the original question, Khan with the blatant duck. Went up in weight to fight a man that Canelo has been ducking at all costs.

Brook has had the big fight Khan demanded yet he's still running scared and adds more obstacles. Khan needs to stop living off 2011 ffs

Mikey is someone who you can call a true boxer. Not looking for vacant titles etc. Wants to fight the best to be the best.

Shame he doesn't get the recognition he deserves on this site and the wider boxing world.

Some big fights at 135 for him but he wants to move up as well if they can't be made.

Unfortunately casuals aren't interested unless you are brash, controversial and assault women.

I wish the fans were interested in the fights but just like the WWE they are more interested in the drama

Good fight. Yep negotiations been getting closer these last few weeks.

Yeah Brook should forget about Khan just fight anyone and anyone now he can make Khan look like a joke without even fighting him.
