Recent games have left us in need of a decent result, and a tricky early home kickoff against Hull should make for an interesting weekend.
This current Hull side is a completely different animal from the one we beat last year. A disastrous first half of the season has seen them splash the cash over a very busy January window, with increasingly decent performances on the pitch.
A new coach (whose Olympiakos side beat us at the Emirates) and about half a dozen decent signings have seen them go on a run of 4 wins, 1 draw and 3 losses, including 2 convincing shutouts against Liverpool and United in their last 2 fixtures.
My players to watch out for are mostly January signings who seem to have hit the ground running.
Ranocchia - 2 clean sheets in his two games( Liverpool & United).
Evandro - could be a worry with the gap between our defence and midfield.
Ndiaye and Niasse - already amongst the goals.
Elbellaoui - can play anywhere on the right and cause problems for Monreal.
Jakupovic - making up for last year with some convincing performances.

I think it's brilliant. A group of lads starting off with some gimmicky hobbyist videos, and then turning it into a global phenomenon.
It's raw unpackaged emotion straight after a game. They don't seem to take themselves too seriously and they leave the cerebral stuff to the pundits.
It's a weekly treat for someone like me who's worked abroad for the past 5 years.

Apparently we could see up to 10,000 empty seats for the hull game. Hopefully could show the board the fans are very unhappy with the state of the club. Will also be an unbelievably toxic atmosphere if we fail to win.

If they've been paid for (which they probably have been), I don't think they'll be too bothered. They announce the numbers for the crowd including the empty seats (at least they did when I was last there!).
